We take a very pragmatic approach to architecture. The embodiment of the applications architecture is in the application frameworks. We have implemented and continue to refine the architecture approaches that we have found useful for our applications and those of our customers. By developing application frameworks, we gain first-hand knowledge of the challenges that arise when the architecture is implemented in real-world applications. The development of this software also gives us insight in the open-source choices that may be right for your organization.

Many application architectures focus solely on the structural components to support business functionality. Our architectural approach includes not only the business functionality, but also the operational infrastructure necessary to diagnose application health as it runs in production. Our approach to applications architecture is strongly influenced by experiences in mainframe systems programming in an enterprise data center environment.
